Our golf course was originally designed as nine holes in 1932 by five-time Open champion JH Taylor. It was extended to an 18-hole course in 1991 by Leonard Fisher, who owned the course from 1955-2007. The new owners took over in 2014 and rebranded from Windwhistle to the current Cricket St Thomas. The challenging holes mean Cricket St Thomas Golf Club is regularly recognized as one of the best presented courses in the South West of the United Kingdom.
The greens are kept in superb condition by our team of extremely dedicated green keepers. The land has matured over the years into a beautiful parkland course with tree-lined fairways and manicured greens to test golf enthusiasts of all abilities. The course also benefits from excellent drainage all year round, which guarantees a high level of course availability throughout the calendar year.
